Deadline to Register to Vote for the November 2025 Uniform & Special Election is Monday, October 6, 2025

El Paso, Texas – The El Paso County Elections Department would like to remind all eligible voters that the last day to register to vote for the November 2025 Uniform & Special Election is Monday, October 6, 2025.

Eligible voters who would like to register to vote for the first time or update their voter registration information may do so in person at the El Paso County Elections Department, 500 E. San Antonio Ave., Suite 314, El Paso, Texas 79901. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. On Monday, October 6th, the office will remain open until 5:00 p.m.

Ballots for this election include Horizon Regional Municipal Utility District, Socorro Independent School District, Tornillo Independent School District, Village of Vinton, City of Socorro, Town of Clint and the State of Texas.

Important Voter Registration Information:
Last Day to Register: Monday, October 6, 2025
Qualifications: To register in Texas, an applicant must:
• Be a resident of the county in which they are registering.
• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Be 18 years of age by Election Day.
• Not be a convicted felon, or if convicted, have completed all punishment (including incarceration, parole, probation, or supervision) or received a pardon.
• Not be declared by a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be either totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote.
How to Register: Download, print and mail a voter registration application in English or Spanish postage-paid from www.epcountyvotes.com under Voter Registration. Applications are also available at any United States Post Office, the Department of Public Safety, El Paso Public Libraries, Texas Health and Human Services Commission offices and any local high school.

Once processed, a Voter Registration Certificate will be mailed within 30 days as required by Texas law.

If already registered, voters can use My Voter Dashboard to check their voter registration status. Voters will need to enter their first name, last name and date of birth, or their Voter Unique Identifier (VUID), which is located on their Voter Registration Certificate.
