All Voting Sites Remain Open, Voter Check-in Software Functionality
Martes, 3 de Marzo del 2026

El Paso, Texas – As polls opened on Election Day, voter check-in pads, known as poll pads, experienced an inability to allow voters to select a party. All machines used to vote and cast a voter’s ballot have been and remain fully functional and without issue. Voters can continue to vote at all voting sites. The poll pads which voters use to check-in do not impact the machines used to vote. For voting sites where the poll pad machines are not functioning, election workers are able to manually check-in voters and voters are able to cast their votes using a voting machine. Elections remains in close communication with its poll pad vendor that is actively attempting to identify and correct this issue for El Paso County and other counties that experienced issues this morning.

All voting sites remain open and, as with any election, voters are encouraged to check estimated real time wait times at various voting sites when heading out to their voting place of choice: To see all voting sites and estimated real time wait times, please click here: https://epcountyvotes.com/voter-information/election-day-vote-centers.

El Paso County will continue to provide updates as the County’s poll pad vendor restores functionality for poll pads across all El Paso voting sites. Thank you for your patience and participation in elections. As always, we remain committed to ensuring that all eligible voters are able to select the party of their choice and cast their corresponding ballot today.
